Maurice Bailey, President and CEO
Bailey is President and CEO of FlyteComm where he is focused on leading the company to growth and profitability.  Bailey brings 25 years of technology experience in both public and start-up companies. Bailey is also a partner of the Bailey Group, where he has a track record of helping companies define strategy and execute to drive growth. The Bailey Group provides executive advisory services to high technology companies and is a limited partner in the Novus1 and Novus2 funds.

Before joining FlyteComm, Bailey was President and CEO of Optimal Networks. Under his leadership, Optimal emerged as a leader in application-performance monitoring and annual sales reached $12M.  Compuware acquired the company in 2000. 

Previously, Bailey was Senior Vice President of US operations for Retix, where the team grew sales from $3M to $70M, leading to a successful IPO. Earlier in his career Bailey worked for several technology companies including Racal Data Communications Group where as general manager he was responsible for $650M in sales.

Bailey holds engineering degrees from City University in London and Imperial College of Science and Technology at London University.  Bailey is a licensed pilot.

Roman Smolgovsky, Chief System Architect
Roman Smolgovsky is responsible for architecting industry-leading flight intelligence solutions as well as managing the products development process. He brings over 15 years of experience in system architecture, design, implementation and deployment of software solutions and has a history of leading development teams to success. Previously he  was Chief Product Engineer for Preview Systems where he was responsible for creating next generation of Electronic Software Distribution solutions. Prior he was lead software engineer for Optimal Networks where he was responsible for an Optimal Application Insight product. Smolgovsky has a MS in Computer Science from the University of Radio Engineering Minsk, Minsk USSR. In his spare time he teaches advanced computer science classes at San Jose State University.
