FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—March 10, 2000. FlyteComm Corporation announced the release of WebTrax™ 2.0, a real-time graphical flight tracking Internet feature. WebTrax allows the viewer to observe the actual location of any commercial flight in the U.S. or Canada over the Internet. The display includes a map of the aircraft's current location with detailed flight information, including altitude, speed, and ETA. Enhancements include graphic radar and satellite weather imagery, more flexible query interface that allows flights to be selected in several ways, and an email to wireless gateway provided by partner company Smart Ray that allows users to send custom formatted flight arrival information at a designated time to pagers, PDA's and other wireless devices.

Using dynamically generated images, WebTrax™ offers users fast access to real-time flight position and arrival information, greatly reducing airport congestion and wasted time.
