FlyteComm and mFoundry partner to create FlyteSource-Mobile,
an innovative “must-have” mobile application for travelers

   

SAN FRANCISCO – November 28, 2005 – FlyteComm, a premier information services company, and mFoundry, a leading mobile publisher and platform provider, have partnered to create FlyteSource-Mobile, a new downloadable mobile application that lets travelers track in real-time commercial airline flights from their data-capable cell phones. FlyteSource-Mobile was recently selected by CTIA IT & Entertainment 2005 for its Wireless Widgets Showcase, which highlights the most compelling and innovative products at the conference.

FlyteSource-Mobile was designed with today’s frequent traveler in mind and is the ultimate resource for business people or anyone who travels. Created using the mWorks platform, FlyteSource-Mobile showcases the robust and useful applications made possible by mWorks. With FlyteSource-Mobile, you can check on real-time flight status and search for alternate flights on other airlines.  The application also lets you check the weather for an airport, set up favorite airports for quick searches and includes toll free numbers for airlines, hotels and car rental agencies, which can be automatically dialed from the application.
